Our teachers are dedicated to helping children achieve the skills and knowledge they need for a lifetime of success. They are part of a friendly, caring, professional staff that works as a team to meet the needs of every student.
The Rogers School District has formed a professional learning community dedicated to continual improvement and studying the latest teaching techniques and educational innovations. The district uses nationally renowned experts to help teachers deliver the best possible instruction to our students. Fifty-two percent of our teachers, administrators, and supervisors have earned advanced degrees.
Our teachers have recently distinguished themselves as the National Physical Education Teacher of the Year, Economics Teacher of the Year, National Counselor of the Year, Outstanding Environmental Educator of the Year, Hero of the Heart Award Winners, State Cross Country Coach of the Year, State Counselor of the Year, Wal-Mart State Teacher of the Year, and Regional Baseball Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year. We have more than 100 national board certified teachers and four teachers have been recognized as National Educator Award winners and Milken Family Foundation Fellows.
Our community members and our parents volunteer thousands of hours each year in our schools. Every day, volunteers tutor students, organize parent centers, assist teachers and serve as mentors. Community and parent involvement help our students achieve their best.
The Rogers School District highly values its teachers and offers them one of the highest career income potentials for teachers in the state.
