Unit Overview
Students will examine the positive and negative impact of the early European explorers on the Native American tribes in Arkansas. This unit will focus on the following explorers: Hernando De Soto, Jacques Marquette, Louis Joliet, Sieur de La Salle, and Henri De Tonti
