Havenwood

The Havenwood program provides transitional housing for single mothers and their children in a supportive environment to help families become economically self-sufficient and transition into permanent housing. Havenwood is a two-year program designed to help single mothers overcome the barriers in their lives that lead to homelessness. Residents are required to work or attend school full time and volunteer.
House of Hope Rescue Mission
The House of Hope provides showers and laundry facilities, a food pantry and clothing room, help with jobs and life skills, as well as phone and mail services. Volunteers can assist clients with job applications, interview process, and other services. There is also a chapel for worship and meditation. Private one-on-one prayer and life coaching is available.

Nicole's House

Transitional Housing for Women coming out of addiction. This one year program offers six areas of training, education, and/or support: Recovery, Faith, Support System, Self- Care, Life Skills and Career Plan. Residents participate in the housekeeping, cooking and other chores. They attend the church of their choice, actively attend a faith based recovery program, receive one on one case management and counseling. They obtain a sponsor and are assigned at least one mentor. Residents at Nicole’s House are encouraged to work, but discouraged from working more than 24 hours per week. This allows them to balance their recovery program that includes participating in a recovery step study, case management, weekly counseling, housekeeping duties, self care and successful money management.
Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter

The Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is a private, non-profit organization that provides 24-hour residential, emergency triage care for children throughout Arkansas who are victims of abandonment, abuse or neglect. Its mission is to provide these children in crisis with a safe haven, high-quality care and hope for the future.

Saving Grace of Northwest Arkansas is a transitional living home for young women (ages 18-25) who have aged out of foster care or group homes, are facing homelessness, and/or have been abandoned by critical supports.
Souls Harbor

Souls Harbor is now a transitional community, providing shelter and care for men in recovery. In addition to a safe place to live, it provides food, clothing, educational opportunities and case management. Residents are responsible for a shared housing expense of $50 per week, half of which is returned to them upon completion through graduation of the program. Each resident is responsible for assisting with grounds maintenance, basic upkeep, gardening, and various tasks around the facilities.

The Northwest Arkansas Area Command operates two Emergency Shelters in Northwest Arkansas, one in Bentonville and one in Fayetteville. These shelters are open 365 nights a year. Between the two shelters, they have 72 beds. To stay, there is a small application process. Additionally, a photo I.D. is required and they do breathalyzer tests to ensure everyone is safe. Guests can stay 10 business days. They serve free meals each evening at both locations and breakfast in Bentonville. Meals are open to anyone in the community. Shelters are meant to be a temporary option. They work with guests on a case-by-case basis to meet needs and find permanent housing.
