Rogers Public Education Foundation Grants

The Rogers Public Education Foundation (RPEF) enhances the quality of education in our community by funding worthwhile academic programs that are not typically covered by district budgets.
All RPS teachers are encouraged to apply for RPEF Grants!
Deadline: February 16, 2026
Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. through the online portal.
Preparing Your Application
- Review the RPEF Grant Planning Worksheet to familiarize yourself with the application process.
- Consult your building principal to confirm that the request cannot be funded through district resources.
Application Submission
- Submit your grant application using the following link: 2025-2026 RPEF Grant Application.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your application is successfully submitted.
Approval Process
After the deadline, submitted applications will be reviewed by the building principal. Approved applications will then be forwarded to the Rogers Public Education Foundation for consideration.
Important Notes:
- If a teacher is awarded a grant and later changes buildings within the RPS district, the grant must be reviewed and approved by the RPEF Board.
- RPEF will not fund requests for:
- SmartBoards
- Subscriptions
- Travel
- Memberships
- Professional development
- Non-educational items (e.g., t-shirts, food, etc.)
For questions about your grant application status, please contact Krista Khone, RPEF Executive Director, (krista.khone@rpsar.net) or Melody Sebastian, Director of Federal Programs, (melody.sebastian@rpsar.net).
Grant award notifications will be made each spring by the Rogers Public Education Foundation (RPEF) Board. Recipients will be notified in early May.
Although grant funds will not be available until July 1, purchase orders can be completed in advance. Funding codes will be provided to the building’s fiscal agent (e.g., principal or secretary) for purchase order processing.
Documentation and Project Review
Grant recipients are required to document the use of grant funds and submit a review of the project’s implementation. Documentation may include written reports, photos, and/or video evidence.
