Dynamic Learning Maps

Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) assessments are designed for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities for whom general state assessments are not appropriate, even with accommodations. DLM assessments offer these students a way to show what they know and can do in mathematics, English language arts, and science. The content standards are the same for all students in Arkansas. The difference for students with the most significant cognitive disabilities is the manner in which they are assessed. The results of the DLM should demonstrate progress toward meeting the Arkansas standards. The DLM is administered to identified students in grades 3 - 8.
