CSAP Eligibility Requirements
-
Enrollment Deadline:
-
According to Act 475 of 2025, students transferring to a new public school must be enrolled by June 1 (not July 1, as previously allowed) for grades 7–10 to be immediately eligible.
-
The same 365-day sit-out period applies if not enrolled by June 1.
-
A CSAP form must be completed and submitted to the receiving district and the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA).
-
-
Signatures Required:
- Previous school superintendent
- New school superintendent
- Parent/guardian (witnessed by the new superintendent or a notary)
- Applies only to Arkansas public school students.
To stay eligible for athletics after transferring, a student must complete a CSAP form to confirm the move was not for athletic reasons.
A JV CSAP Form allows students who meet all other eligibility rules (except transfer requirements) to compete at the junior varsity level, with signatures from both superintendents and parents.
