Cambridge International

Logo that says go global, choose Rogers with a globe

What Is Cambridge International Education?

Cambridge International Education is part of the University of Cambridge and is recognized worldwide for its rigorous, high-quality academic programs. Cambridge works with schools in more than 160 countries to develop curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, deep understanding, and real-world application.

Rather than focusing on memorization, Cambridge encourages students to ask questions, make connections, and become confident, independent learners.

Rogers School District Receives Approval for Three Cambridge International Schools, Forming Arkansas’s First K–12 Pathway

Rogers School District is proud to announce that three of our schools have been officially approved as Cambridge International Schools, marking the first K–12 Cambridge pathway in the state of Arkansas.

This designation reflects our commitment to academic excellence, student opportunity, and preparing learners for success in college, career, and an increasingly global world. Read the full press release by clicking here.

Why Rogers Chose Cambridge

Rogers Public Schools selected Cambridge International Education because it aligns closely with our district's mission and our belief that all students deserve access to high-quality, future-ready learning opportunities.

Cambridge supports:

  • Strong academic foundations built over time

  • Instruction that challenges students to think, analyze, and problem-solve

  • Preparation for college, careers, and global citizenship

  • A coherent K–12 pathway rather than disconnected programs

This is not an add-on or a short-term initiative. Cambridge is an intentional investment in teaching and learning across grade levels.

What Students Will Gain

Students participating in the Cambridge pathway benefit from:

  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence in communication and collaboration

  • Deeper understanding of academic content

  • Preparation for college-level expectations

  • Global awareness and perspective

Cambridge is designed to support a wide range of learners and focuses on growth, engagement, and long-term success.

Our Approved Cambridge Schools

The following Rogers School District campuses have been approved as Cambridge International Schools, creating a seamless K–12 pathway for students:

Janie Darr Elementary School
Cambridge foundations focus on curiosity, inquiry, and strong academic skills that prepare students for future success.

Birch Kirksey Middle School
Students continue developing critical thinking, communication, and academic habits that bridge elementary learning to advanced coursework.

Rogers High School
Students have access to advanced, internationally recognized Cambridge coursework that supports college and career readiness.

Together, these schools provide a connected learning experience where skills and expectations build year to year.

How the K–12 Cambridge Pathway Works

Cambridge in Rogers Public Schools is structured as a coherent pathway, meaning learning builds intentionally from one level to the next.

  • Elementary: Students develop curiosity, foundational skills, and a love of learning

  • Middle School: Instruction deepens understanding and prepares students for more advanced academic work

  • High School: Students engage in rigorous coursework that supports postsecondary goals

Each stage prepares students for what comes next, creating continuity and clarity for families.

What This Means for Families

Families can expect:

  • No additional tuition for Cambridge programming

  • A rigorous academic experience within their public school

  • Highly trained teachers supported by ongoing professional development

  • A balanced education that supports academic growth and student well-being

Cambridge does not replace the well-rounded experiences students already receive in Rogers Public Schools. It enhances instruction while maintaining strong support systems.
